NCICU Communications Officers/PIO and Staff Conference 2020

Dates: Wednesday, January 8 and Thursday, January 9

Location: High Point University, High Point, NC

Schedule:

Wednesday - The Conference begins with check-in at 1:30 p.m.

The first of three afternoon sessions will begin at 2:30 p.m. Topics include managing threats on campus, social media and an update from NCICU President Hope Williams. An early evening heavy hors d'oeuvres' reception will provide a time to socialize with your peers from around the state.

Thursday - At 8 a.m., breakfast roundtables will provide an opportunity for open discussion on campus videos, news releases, HBCUs/women’s colleges, or managing personalities on campus, while enjoying a continental breakfast. The roundtables will be followed by individual track sessions for Communications and for Marketing.

The conference concludes with alunch featuring a guest speaker.

Registration: The registration fee is $100. The fee may be paid in advance by credit card through Eventbrite or by check payable to and mailed to NCICU in advance.

Registration closes on Tuesday, December 31 at 6:00 p.m. Requests for registration fee refunds or release from payment can be accepted up to, but not after, January 4.

Hotel Room Reservations: Several local hotels offer a discounted rate for this event and a list of those hotels is included with the registration email. Please request the High Point University rate when reserving a room.
